#2,222 Surprise Visitor + Snow(ish) Day.

Bekah was passing through Laurel on a work trip and 100% made my day by stopping by with a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup since I couldn’t get a break for lunch. It was so great to catch up in person since we mostly only get to talk via text and I wish so badly she lived closer. We covered riveting topics like Making A Murderer, Criminal Minds, and our weird celebrity crushes (y’all know about me and James Gandolfini, but she’s got Tom Selleck). Also, her fishtail braiding skills are impressive.

Mallorie and I did a tour of her house over on Periscope and HGTV tweeted about it! It totally made both our days!

Speaking of THE Network, they’ve made a page for Home Town! With an ‘Episodes’ tab! PLURAL! A girl can dream, right?

After work I walked outside and found tiny little snow flurries were swirling around in the blustery wind and I swear I could hear the music from The Holiday in my head. You know how it sounds like a windy day?

So we went to Cracker Barrel to sit by the fire, of course!

And when we pulled in the carport, the boys in blue of the LPD were cruising past slowly, just checking on us. Sgt. Brewer told us about a millwork company he loves that Ben would too, and we talked about home renovation.

It was a very good and busy week. Now it’s only 2 more days until Home Town!
