#2,205 Breathe Right + Supper Club.
The thing about having a cold is, it makes you sound nasally when you don’t need to sound nasally. It’s like Murphy’s Law for me—if I have some reason to need my voice, I’m going to get a cold 2 days before. I wasn’t able to sleep a wink last night, tossing and turning from about 2:30 am to 5:30 am, when I decided to get up and tackle the day since we had to be in Jackson this morning. For reasons I can’t explain, I woke up on 3 hours of sleep and had tons of energy and a good mood to boot. I don’t know what got into me, but I got busy chopping vegetables for the week and making omelets and bacon for breakfast. I took a long, long, hot shower in an attempt to make my sinuses open up and keep me from sounding like my nose was pinched. On the way to Jackson we stopped and picked up the very thing—a pack of Breathe Right nasal strips. We got to Mad Genius to record some things (details to come), and I proudly slapped that nasal strip across my nose and got to work…
And I think I sounded totally normal. Who knew those things really work?!
When we got back from Jackson we headed straight over to supper club at Josh and Emily’s old loft which is now Cruz and Chappy’s new house.
Where I ate responsibly, and with lots of fruit, because I’m trying that, because it’s January, and you know… Health! Now, I’m going to go sleep 90 miles an hour and catch up on last night’s missed sleep, too. Wash your hands out there, friends!
