Wine Down Downtown
In July of this year, our city, in partnership with Laurel Main Street, launched it's newest event, Wine Down Downtown. This monthly event has been such a great success for our downtown! We've enjoyed seeing so many new and old faces in our shops and downtown and we hope that you're making plans to come Wine Down with us at one of our last events of the year! 
Wine Down occurs once a month on the Friday night that coincides with Rusty Chandelier- a monthly vintage market that occurs downtown. Its a perfect way to enjoy a relaxing evening, strolling through our downtown. 
Our retail stores and boutiques will be open after hours until 8pm, most will be a participating wine tasting stop (over 25 stores total!)....with each store having fun sidewalk sales and/or in-store promotions! All of our downtown restaurants will be open, too!
Laurel Main Street will be selling re-usable, collector-style wine glasses for $15, which will allow you to walk around town, while enjoying unlimited wine tastings at all participating merchants. Don't worry if you don't like wine - folks that wish not to partake are welcome to join in the festivities for free! Our local restaurants and Slowboat Brewery will be able to serve you whatever you'd like, too!
Queen's Reward Meadery will be joining us again this month at the Laurel Mercantile pouring up some of their delicious mead! Queen's Reward Meadery is Mississippi's first and only meadery located in Tupelo, MS and we are honored to have them pour for us this month!
