#759 Stop Hunger Now.
Today was the 3rd Stop Hunger Now packing at our church and every time I’m amazed by how enthusiastically the members of our church support this ministry. Today was the biggest participation ever with almost 100 folks from toddlers to old folks preparing meals.
We packaged 20,000 meals in 2 hours for hungry children in developing countries. Isn’t that kind of incredible?
P.S.
Ben’s parents came to town for the afternoon and sweet Jookie (Ben’s mama) grabbed the Comet and scrubbed our stainless sink (at the apartment) until it was shiny. She just felt like it. Which is the very same thing my mama does from time to time when she comes over. It made the whole kitchen look new—swear. So I went on a cleaning frenzy throughout the house and felt ultimate productivity. Excellent Saturday, I’d say.
