#563 Revival.

Since The Rev is in Collins this week preaching revival at Ben’s grandparents’ church we took the youth tonight for the welcome dinner and service.

I have never in my life sat in such a well air-conditioned building, and thanks be to God. And have I ever told you how much I love my father-in-law? Everything he says at the pulpit is so profound and epic. He’s an amazing man. I’m so proud to call him my other daddy.

Then it was a potluck dinner in the fellowship hall.

Grandmother looks like she’s attacking him with tickles or something, but really she was just making sure he got enough chicken ‘n dumplins. This picture is hysterical to me.

I love our church family and youth kids. They’re always up for anything and they have a good time no matter what we do. That’s something to really be thankful for.
