#2,717 An Old Friend.

My favorite author, if I had to say, would be Elizabeth Berg. Years ago, I checked out every book our local library had by her and I read them one by one, most written in the 90s and early 2000s, but nothing really in recent years. Because I never owned those books, I sometimes remember the way she turned a phrase and wish I could go back and re-read it. I’ve found a few of her older books, used, and bought them to keep, and I’m excited to go back and read them again and remember what it is about her writing I’ve always liked so much.

Do you have a favorite author whose books you’ve read over and over? Isn’t it kind of like visiting an old friend?
