#2,682 Rebel Road Trip.

It was one of the really really really cool days.

The Ole Miss Rebel Road Trip came to town with our head coach, Hugh Freeze, our athletic director, Ross Bjork, and the chancellor of the university, Jeff Vitter. It was a packed house of Ole Miss boosters for lunch:

Then we got to show them Amanda’s house from last night’s episode:

Then Coach bummed a ride with us to the Mercantile to do a little shopping with the whole Ole Miss crew following us:

I got to introduce him to my parents, who were giddy like school kids:

And Ben got to meet the coach who was once a basketball star at Ole Miss and wore #33, and was the reason Ben was #33 in high school, too. It was a huge day of full circle family tradition for us.

And the best of all is this: Ole Miss beat Bama in the last 60 years ONLY the times my uncle Dale was in attendance in the stadium. He couldn’t get tickets last year.

What an unbelievably cool day. I won’t ever forget it.
