#2,181 Pickin.
We got up early this morning and headed north to Jackson with Jim, Mal and Lucy to hit all our favorite thrift, junk and antique shops in search of more one-of-a-kind items for the shops. You have to dig through a lot of trash to find the jewels, but today we struck gold and came home with several great new pieces I think y’all are going to like.
After lunch with Joey and Sarah who’ve been in Jackson all this week before heading back home to Washington D.C., we made a stop in “Funky” Fondren for popsicles and cookies. Lucy made a song and dance using only the word “popsicle,” ate a sugar cookie…
Then this cutie got sick all over the inside of Jim and Mal’s brand new car. After a gas station stop for damage control, we wrapped up our shopping trip and headed home. She’s now feeling 100% awesome, I’m happy to report.
When we got back, Chad and Annalee invited us to eat dinner with them at Dean’s since they’ve somehow never been there. Chad loves paparazzi.
Before we knew it, it was getting late and we headed back home to watch the recording of our new friend Holly Baker’s HGTV pilot, Big Easy Reno, set in New Orleans.
Do you follow Holly on social media? If you don’t, you should. You’ll absolutely love her sweet, chipper spirit and sunny style!
