#1,287 Shower + Julie’s Party.
When we found out Mal and Jim were expecting, oddly one of the first things I thought about was the fact that she would need a baby shower and I would be just the person to do that. I’m so thankful that Annalee, Jane and Hope jumped on board to hostess with me, and most of all that Annalee offered to have it at her house and do all the decorating. It’s good to have friends that are shower queens.
A little jealous because my mama made her first quilt ever for baby Lucy. I’m so proud of her. It’s a vintagey floral cotton on the front with a soft, washed ivory muslin on the back, ivory satin edges and bright white tufting all over with a monogram on the corner. I just wish you could see how beautiful and soft it is in person!
Jane, Annalee, Mallorie, me and Hope:
And as soon as the shower was over, we all moved outside to the pool to have a little early birthday party for Julie, who is turning 27 on Wednesday:
And then we obliterated her cupcake pinata with a golf club in the pursuit of Airheads, Starburst and Skittles.
Because we are grown ups.
P.S.
Happy 2nd birthday, Chevy!

I’m really excited that our new oven is here.
