#1,153 Lasagna.
Since childhood, my favorite meal has always been my mama’s lasagna. It was the first recipe I ever learned and tonight I had a little time to cook, and lasagna hit the spot. I’d share the (simple) recipe with you, but I just wouldn’t feel right about it. I think she told me it was on the lasagna noodle box back in the day and she always just followed that. It’s the only dish I make that never fails, that tastes exactly the same every single time, and feeds a lot of people or makes many delicious leftover meals.
I wish I’d remembered to take a picture of it finished. You can just come over and eat some if you want. There’s a ton of it left.
Other good things from today:
Ben’s awesome new haircut
by our buddy Jeremy who aspires to open a super manly old-fashioned barber shop downtown.
Baker had to go to the vet for his annual checkup, and Chevy was devastated. It was cute, since Baker came home 2 hours later.
