#1,095 Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
A bunch of the youth have been reading their lines for weeks now getting ready for tonight’s Prairie Home Companion-style reader’s theatre of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
My handsome husband was the narrator in his bow tie and tweed and the youth were hysterical—particularly the teenage guys playing middle aged women.
But the angel choir stole the show. Lily was nearly completely disrobed by the end of their song and Colin went with a Frankenstein/zombie dance during Silent Night.
Our church events like this always feel like a family reunion. It’s good having such a very big family.
