#2,355 Life’s A Beach.

I spent all my summers growing up here in Orange Beach at my family’s beach home, usually with my two friends Nancy and Jaime close by. We would spend entire days destroying our skin in the sun (worth it to look like surfer girls of course), hoping to meet a boy who looked like Pacey Witter or Ryan Dunn. Our long hair would be a tangled, salty mess riding in Jeeps with the top off and No Doubt on the radio. No matter how old I get, the beach still gives me that sweet 16 feeling.

After a long walk on the beach this morning (where we met lots of Home Town fans!)…
We hopped in the Jeep and headed to Pirate’s Cove for lunch.

Then we spent the afternoon on the beach dozing and reading and swimming until my parents arrived around 4:00.

And we attempted a boat ride to Hub Stacey’s…

But the fuel filter tore up about 200 yards from home so we took the car instead.

I hope this won’t be my last beach trip this year. What a dreamy day!
