#1,596 Flashflood.

That horrific storm system passed through here around 10:00 tonight and brought a crazy flashflood like I’ve never seen in my life. We’re safe and sound, but tornadoes were touching down around my aunt’s house a few miles from Laurel. So scary. I’m thankful we’re all okay tonight.

Our beloved Gardiner Park is an ocean at the moment. I’ve never seen anything like it.

This is where we had the Easter egg hunt a few days ago:

I hope you’re safe wherever you’re reading this, too.

P.S.
On a lighter note (or heavier, maybe) I made this delicious one pot ziti for dinner with Josh and Em and it was incredible. I used 40 oz. of crushed tomatoes (and added 1/3 cup of red wine + finely diced onions in with the garlic and let it all simmer down before adding the tomatoes) and only 2 cups of water, and it was PERFECT.

Seriously, one pot. Make it this week!
