#1,021 Late Night Kitchen.

Mallorie and Jim are in the middle of a total kitchen renovation and it’s getting close to completion. Last night, Jim bought a TV for the kitchen so we went over at 11 pm to see the hanging of the TV and its maiden viewing. And so I could sit there and get jealous about Mallorie’s custom cabinets, Pottery Barn latches, kitchen fireplace, pantry screen door, and apron front sink. What a losa!

Carrerra marble countertops are coming next week. It’s going to look so awesome!

Then Jim heard us making fun of the island corbels he specifically instructed the cabinet maker to use while Mallorie was at work one day. She came home to find these super ornate Greek numbers on the island, and said, “I really WISH they would have asked me what I wanted before they put these awful corbels on here!”………. And Jim said nothing. Tonight, we discussed how they’d be so much better if only they had grape clusters or cherubs on them. Jim cut his eyes at us, “Do what?!”

“These are hand carved.”

Ooooooh Jimmy. Mmmkay.

Ben was testing placement of the concrete cow head Mal found at Southern Antique Mall.

Then Jim got the TV set up playing Pandora, the Bing Crosby channel, and I sulked because she has a fireplace in her kitchen and she’ll bake cookies and listen to White Christmas in a couple months.

And then we went to Waffle House. The end.
